Welcome to the Routt County
Employment Application System

 

 

Effective April 1, 2020, the County has moved to an automated employment application system. All applicants are now required to apply electronically through this system (including those who had applied for positions with the County by a paper application in the past).

Before you apply for positions, you will want to click on Log In in the upper right. If you are applying with us for the first time throught the online application program you will click on Create a new account. You will then receive a PIN on the screen and via email. You will use this PIN whenever you log back into the system. If you have an account, use the Log In to sign in to your profile and listing of open positions. If you are a current employee and want to log in and apply for a position you will click on the Log in as an existing employee to see both external and internal job openings.

Register for email alerts:

At the top right you can register for email alerts on future job openings based on the job category. These are general categories that are given to specific jobs openings across the county and are not specific to departments. When a position is advertised and you have expressed an interest in the category for that job, you will receive an email notification. You can return to this site and log into your profile to apply for that position.

 

Before You Begin:

1) Have all additional documents that you want to attach (such as cover letter, resume, references, transcripts, etc.) ready in an electronic format (Word, PDF, etc.)
2) DO NOT use "Refresh" or "Back" buttons from your browser while completing the application.
3) The system will check for errors before reviewing the application; errors will be noted by a red asterisk (*)
4) If you have any difficulties uploading attachments, or you want to attach additional documents to your application after you apply, you may fax these to Human Resources at (970) 870-5362.
5) It is advised to click on the Save for Later option at the bottom of pages to make sure what you have entered is not lost if your connection is lost to our server.
6) Returning to resume Saved application, please locate saved application under the Unfinished Application tab.

7) Once application is complete and all required items (cover letter & resume, if applicable) are uploaded click on Submit.

Recommendation: For best results please use a Google Chrome browser.
